Crow Hill Climbing & Potluck BBQ (Sat May 13, rain date Sun May 14)
To celebrate the conclusion of the Rock Climbing Program, we have traditionally held a casual day of climbing and socializing with a potluck BBQ at Crow Hill.
Crow Hill is in the Leominster State Forest in Leominster, MA, about 1 hour west of Boston, and features many single-pitch trad climbs and toproping.
These events are not part of the rock program, but we encourage graduates of the program to attend. Mark your calendars!
New Seconds Weekend (May 20-21)
An amazing weekend of multi-pitch trad climbing at the Shawangunks (a.k.a. "The Gunks") in the Mohonk Preserve, near New Paltz, NY, open by invitation to graduates of the Rock Program. The Gunks are a major east coast climbing destination and have a storied history dating back to the 1930's.
Memorial Day Weekend at Acadia National Park (May 27-29)
Acadia National Park features fantastic climbing (usually toproping) on sea cliffs at Otter Cliff and also several other areas for trad climbing and toproping.
