Open Cabin Weekend - Ice Season Kickoff!

Join AMC Boston Climbers for a weekend at the Harvard Low Cabin to kick off the 2019 Ice Season! While there is no official pairing up, organized group meals or activities, there will be a Saturday night gathering to give everyone a chance to reconnect with friends, climbing partners, and ice program alumni and current students to build the stoke for the coming program and season.

Saturday Night’s party will be hosted by our friend’s Ian and Ildi. If you are planning on coming please reach out to the weekend host Chris Woodall so that a final number for the night can be confirmed.

The weekend is $10 per person per night, payable at the cabin. You can come Fri and/or Sat night, sleep inside/outside/in a tree. Please register using the link below. When you've completed the registration form, you will see a link for a Google sheet that can be used to arrange car pooling and climbing (and other activities).

The Harvard Low Cabin is a historic and rustic cabin located on Route 16 at Mile Marker 93.4 in Jackson, New Hampshire.  Park at the pullouts on either side of the road and walk up the hill on the east side of the road about 100 ft.  Guests will need to bring sleeping pad and sleeping bag as everyone shares the floor to sleep in the cabin's large loft space. There is an open kitchen, drinkable water, an outhouse, and two stoves to heat the downstairs.

  • Lodging is $10 per person, per night

  • You may cancel (preferrably with 24 hours notice), but please email the host so we can free up your spot
