The controversial history of climbing on Cerro Torre

  • Patagonia Boston 346 Newbury St Boston, MA, 02115 United States (map)

Join us at Patagonia Boston as Kelly Cordes, one of North America’s top alpinists, reads and shows images from his new book, The Tower: A Chronicle of Climbing and Controversy on Cerro Torre. Patagonia’s Cerro Torre, considered by many the most beautiful peak in the world, has been shrouded in controversy since it was first allegedly ascended in 1959. Kelly digs through the mystery to find the truth, which is as clouded as the legendary peak itself.

After his presentation, Kelly will answer questions and sign books, which will be available for sale.
